Aldershot is one of the earliest established areas in Burlington and is also one of the largest geographically. It is bounded by the QEW to the east, Mountain Brow to the north, Hwy 6 to the west and Hamilton Harbour to the south. It offers a village-like feel with gorgeous tree-lined streets.

Aldershot offers some of Burlington’s most beautiful parks, the Royal Botanical Gardens and picnic areas by the lake. LaSalle Park is an ideal spot for families offering a beautiful 57 acre park on Northshore Boulevard with: a huge playground, great picnic areas, and a wading pool. Historically, most of Aldershot had only one housing option: ranch style detached homes on larger lots. More recently, the Plains Road corridor has been developed and is still in transition offering most of the condo alternatives in this community.

There are a few new and some up-and-coming developments that are now calling Aldershot home. Most of the new major development is taking place along the transit corridor of Plains Road and at the Aldershot Go Station area. You can enjoy the small town feel of this community or if city life appeals, Hamilton, Toronto, and Downtown Burlington are all close.

The majority of new developments are low and mid-rise condominiums. We really look forward to the changing streetscapes and future of Aldershot.
