The South East encompasses mature neighbourhoods bounded by Guelph Line, Burloak, the QEW and finally the lake to the south. The residential makeup of the homes is larger detached residential dwellings on mature lots. This area is admired for its maturity, tree-lined streets and access to the waterfront. Condos are found predominantly along the lakeshore.

The South East has great access to one of Halton’s longest cycling paths. The area is wonderful for avid outdoor enthusiasts. This neighbourhood also has great amenity access in terms of: grocery stores, malls, banks, Go Transit, parks and recreation. Public access points to lakefront parks have been created with promenades. Enjoy a nature walk or a picnic down at The Paletta Lakefront Mansion, a public waterfront park where many events are held in the summer months. On a hot summer’s day take a trip to Nelson Park, Burlington’s newest and largest outdoor pool, splash pad and playground, located on New Street.

The majority of condos in the South East are mature buildings that offer wonderful resort-like living. These condo buildings have larger lots with lawns and gardens, with some having lake front access. These mature condos are also appreciated for their larger square footages, and are often seen as having great value for their lakeside location.
